Saint Thaddeus is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina and the Episcopal Church.
Our church’s history is closely tied to that of Aiken.
You will find us in the heart of town, just one block west of the intersection of Richland and Laurens.
Leave downtown via the Gordon Highway (U.S. 1 North and U.S. 78 East), heading east. Stay on the highway, which becomes the Aiken-Augusta highway in South Carolina and Richland Avenue in Aiken. Turn right onto Pendleton Street off of Richland.
Take Exit 18 south toward Aiken. Drive approximately 6 miles on SC 19 to Richland Avenue and turn right. After one block, turn left onto Pendleton Street.
Take Exit 22 south toward Aiken. Drive approximately 8 miles on U.S. 1 to Richland Avenue and turn right. After driving four blocks, turn left onto Pendleton Street.
In Aiken, U.S. 78 westbound becomes Richland Avenue. Pendleton Street is a left turn off of Richland, one block beyond the intersection of Richland and Laurens.
In Aiken, SC 19 becomes Whiskey Road. At the intersection of South Boundary and Whiskey, turn left and drive approximately 1000 feet until South Boundary intersects Laurens. Turn right onto Laurens, cross over Park Avenue and turn left onto Richland Avenue. Pendleton Street is a left turn one block down Richland.
